Duties

• Ensuring cleanliness of pet kennel areas
• Feeding, providing water, and administering medication to pups
• Willing to work with dogs outside in all types of weather, including but not limited to, bathing, picking up poop, and monitoring play groups.
• Maintaining laundry and dishwasher
• Bathing and drying pups before they go home
• Driving dogs to client’s homes on an as needed basis within 1 hour of our facility in Barrington, using a company car. Therefore, a valid license and good driving record is required. This including pick-ups and drop-offs in Chicago.
• Maintaining a clean and presentable look for customer service as this position may be client facing.
• Working independently to achieve tasks
• Arrive on time and avoid tardiness, missed shifts, and frequent call-ins; this will not be the job for you
• Taking videos and pictures of the pups
• Shows flexibility in daily tasks are, it changes as need arises.

Happy Pup Manor is a home-based boarding and training facility in Barrington, IL that primarily caters to doodles, retrievers, and some smaller breeds. Our specialization allows us to have more fluid playgroups and gives us a better understanding of each dog’s specific needs.
