We know that you may have a lot of questions about our puppy training sessions, and surely you want answers before you leave your new four-legged friend with us for days or weeks. • What we train.

  We train basic commands and good manners for all pups who stay with us. This includes place, stay, sit, down, come, and leave it, as well as things like waiting for guests to approach before greeting, eliminating counter surfing, not barking or biting, and walking well on a leash. We are balanced trainers who primarily use positive reinforcement, with some corrections. We specialize in doodles, retrievers, and smaller breeds, which enables us to take a personalized approach to each pup we work with.

• The average day for your pup.

  We know that pups need a lot of playtime, too, which is why we make sure that there’s plenty of time for playing when your pup stays at Happy Pup Manor. In between training sessions, your pup will have access to five acres of yard for running and playing, as well as 5,000 square feet of indoor space.

• Our program lengths and additional services.

  Our training programs in Northbrook run for 10 days, four weeks, eight weeks, or longer if needed to meet a specific training goal. In addition to programs of different lengths to meet your needs, we also offer complimentary chauffeur services. We know that you have a busy schedule–we want things to be as easy for you as possible.

Specialized Training for Emotional Support, Therapy, and Service Dogs 

Sometimes, our furry companions serve their humans in important ways, offering assistance to a person with disabilities as a service dog or offering support as a therapy dog or emotional support animal.
